Greetings Community Members, Parents and Youth!

The Community Intervention Alliance presents..."Weekend of Purpose 2017!” The Community Intervention Alliance (CIA) is a collaborative community network of local leaders, parents, community organizations, faith-based organizations, and concerned citizens vested in the care and concern of community issues surrounding youth, young adults, and their families. In light of several recent local and national events involving youth and young adults, we believe our youth are crying out for hope and are desperate for motivation and encouragement. Our mission is to encourage, empower, and motivate youth and young adults to cultivate their self-worth, citizenship, academic prowess, personal health and wellness, self-accountability, build healthy relationships and help develop the future leaders of the world!

December 1st -3rd kicks off the annual Weekend of Purpose. This weekend will be filled with empowerment speakers, messages of motivation, community service projects, a youth rally, local entertainment, concluded by worship service! Activities and events are free of charge and are geared towards youth and young adults ages 11-19, and their parents and/or guardians.

Friday, December 1st Community Service Project

Serving the Hungry & “Do You Care” Campaign

5:00pm-6:30pm Hemming Plaza & Abroad (Downtown Jacksonville)

Saturday, December 2nd Youth Empowerment Rally

“Weekend of Purpose” Signature Event
