Amanda Bynes is at it again.
This time, the 27-year-old took it upon herself to light a small fire in an elderly woman’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, California.
TMZ’s Mike Walters tells On Air with Ryan Seacrest Amanda was hospitalized on a 5150 hold after starting a small fire in the woman’s driveway on Monday night.
Mike explains: “A 5150 is a psychiatric hold that a police officer or firefighter can determine in the field that somebody is either a danger to themsevles or a danger to others and they can take you involuntarily to the hospital for up to 72 hours.”
Amanda was found lighting the fire on the concrete driveway of the women’s home, and “she had a little red gas can … dumped it on the ground and lit a fire in the yard of the stranger.”
When policemen and firemen questioned her actions, Mike says, “She didn’t have any answers as to why she’d do that so they determined to take her in.”
Earlier in the day, Amanda — who had been living in New York City — was spotted shopping at Bloomingdales in Santa Monica, California.
