Selena Gomez stopped by On Air with Ryan Seacrest despite having just celebrated her 21st birthday on Monday night to chat about her brand new album, Stars Dance, Justin Bieber, and possibly moving into her own house!
The 21-year-old songstress — who we surprised with a birthday mimosa courtesy of a shirtless male model (see photo below) — admits “she didn’t sleep” and celebrated with “friends and family” by “rent[ing] out a nice restaurant” to ring in her landmark birthday. However, Selena adds she doesn’t feel much different! Except, “Now when people card me, that’s exciting.”
While Selena dug through her hangover basket we presented her with, which included everything from pickles to Menudo (a traditional Mexican soup), the singer-actress admitted “Love Will Remember,” a track off her album that makes us think of Justin, is the most personal song to her.
So will Selena, who is embarking on a worldwide tour, get emotional while performing the song?
“Sure, but I think that’s the best part about doing what we do. I think it’s going to be a great way for me to release some of it and at the same time, by the third show, I’m going to be over it!”
Selena adds, “What’s going to be cool about the tour is we are going to strip it down … make it a little bit more moody … The best part is no one knows what’s going to happen during my show and I’m doing fun covers people won’t expect.”
And although she’s embarking on her biggest tour yet, the former Disney star is also taking on another adult task: moving out of her parents’ home!
Selena revealed to Ryan during her E! special that she’s set to move out of the house she currently shares with her family. So has the singer found her new digs yet?
“I haven’t,” she tells us. “But I’m looking still. It’s time, I guess. But I’m about to leave for tour, so once I get back I’ll get into it and do it from tour, as well.”
“I feel like I need to find a house that I can change all the time because that’s how I constantly am right now,” she laughs. “One day it’ll be like gypsy theme and have really pretty lights and stuff and then the next day I’ll want to be a Kennedy and be proper, so it’s going to range.”
