Maroon 5’s joint tour with Kelly Clarkson kicks off tonight in St. Louis where they’ll jam out to some serious hits off the bands latest album Overexposed.
And despite the tour going through January, there’s no slowing down for this group. In fact, guitarist James Valentine revealed the band’s already begun work on their next album, adding it’s a darker, more organic sound for them.
However, the rocker warns not to expect any new music too soon.
With the tour just getting going and recently engaged Adam Levine returning to The Voice this Fall, James says: ”But at the same time it’s going to be awhile before the record comes out, so maybe some of the stuff we’re doing now will fall by the wayside by the time we actually put it out.”
