USA’s new edgier, darker drama Graceland premieres tonight and Daniel Sunjata, who plays FBI Agent Paul Briggs, revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest that to prepare for the role, the actors didn’t mess around!
Based on the true story of a ritzy beach house that became a safe zone for undercover FBI, CIA, and DEA officers, Graceland focuses on the lives of the agents forced to live together while attempting to keep their secrets.
So did Daniel and his co-stars train with real-life officers?
“We did,” he explains. “We got to consult with the person who was the head of the actual Graceland. This was in the early ’90s to about 2000. So we had lots of help along the way.”
Catch the premiere of Graceland on USA on Thursday at 10/9c.
