Last night we watched ABC’s most recent bachelorette Desiree Hartsock‘s fate play out on the finale of The Bachelorette when we saw remaining suitor Chris Siegfried not only accept the final rose but get down on one knee to propose to Des.
And after knocking our prediction of Brooks Forester coming back, or Des choosing runner up Drew Kenney, we could only wonder how surprised even producers and host Chris Harrison were.
Chris revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest: “That final day we usually know pretty much what’s going to happen. This time, we had a decent idea because we knew he had the ring in his pocket, obviously. But even we were sitting in this hot control room in Antigua just silent.”
“It may have been the most heartfelt, sincere, beautiful proposal we’ve had,” the host adds.
And speaking of beautiful, we can’t wait to watch Juan Pablo Galavis, the next Bachelor!
