And then there were two. On Thursday night’s American Idol, the votes were tallied and one of the three contestants had to say goodbye.
In the end, Angie Miller received the lowest number of votes … sending Kree Harrison and Candice Glover to next week’s finale.
“Candice found out that she was the first to make it to the finale,” explains Ryan Seacrest. “And then in that last commercial break, Angie and Kree were standing next to each other and before we came back live, Kree was asking the stage manager for water. She wanted water immediately because she was convinced she’d have to wet her whistle and sing, like she was going to be the one to be announced to go home … so she was panicked for water. Turns out, we had to say goodbye to Angie.”
Next Wednesday, Kree and Candice will perform for the last time before the next American Idol is crowned on Thursday night.
