One Direction fans are seriously passionate about their beloved boy band, especially when it comes to being noticed. The British heartthrobs have more than 15 million followers on Twitter and most of those followers are begging to be noticed by the boys. Some of their fans are so desperate for a “follow back” that they go to the extent of making up rumors to try and grab their attention!
Last month, one fan posted “Follow me or I’ll break my dog’s neck” accompanied by a photo of someone pinning a dog down to the floor by its neck. Later when she didn’t get a response, she proceeded to post a picture of her dead dog on the social media site. It was later confirmed that the whole thing was a hoax, but the incident sparked outrage around the world!
