Being an assistant is a demanding job — keeping schedules, booking travel accommodations, maintaining confidential information, etc. — but sometimes the tasks they are asked to accomplish can be pretty strange, especially when working for a celebrity. Kim Kardashian recently shared one of the bizarre tasks she requires from all of her assistants, per Page Six, and it's a unique one.
Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (April 22) where host Jimmy Kimmel asked about some of the online rumors surrounding the SKIMS founder and if any are true, including the one where "you have someone take the Starbucks sleeve off your coffee because you hate the sound of cardboard?"
While some people may think there's no way that could be true, the Kardashians star confirmed that was definitely the case, liking it to being nails on chalkboard.
"Yes, it's true, and I hate the feeling, like the sound," she said, adding that whoever she's with with remove the sleeve when she isn't looking. "I can't see it being done or I can't hear it and I can't feel it. Like the cardboard getting moved off of the cup is like nails on a chalkboard to me."
The chat also served as the first interview Kardashian gave since the release of Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department, the extended version of which includes a song called "thanK You aIMee" that Swifties believe is a reference to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and the pair's rumored feud.
